Faith Formation Program for Levels 1-5& Special Needs
First Communion Preparation
Levels 1 and 2:First Communion preparation is a two-year process. Children accompanied by an adult of faith must attend all aspects of the Sunday Formation program. The program begins every Sunday starting with participation in the 9:30 a.m. Mass.Afterwards, all gather in the Main Hall for breakfast. After breakfast, the child attends an age-appropriate program that allows the child an opportunity to learn and grow in his/her faith. During this time, the adult accompanying the child participates in a faith-sharing opportunity with a leader to guide the discussions. There will be several seasonal opportunities to gather as a family and work together on faith-building projects. It is expected that one adult of faith attend all aspects of the program with the child. If you have a child registered for the Level 1 and/or Level 2 program, we also offer a Young Disciples program for children ages 3-5, as well as Levels 3-8.
Older children preparing to receive First Holy Communion will also be expected to enroll in the Sunday Formation Program, accompanied by an adult of faith.
Children enrolling in our Level 3-5 program may register for the class times listed below. All weekday classes are on a first-come first-served basis so register early if you want a specific time. We make an attempt to keep class sizes small so that our catechist can spend more time with the children. Please note that only siblings of our Level 1 and Level 2 children may register for the Sunday Formation program.
