We celebrate BAPTISM

Parents must contact the rectory and arrange to participate in our parish’s baptism class. Call the rectory to register for class. Upon completion of the baptism class, and after all required papers have been submitted, a baptism date can be scheduled.

We celebrate MARRIAGE

Make arrangements with the priest at least six months prior to the wedding. All are required by our Bishop to attend Pre-Cana Conferences as part of the preparation.

Parish Registration

To register in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish Family you must live within our parish boundaries. Come into the rectory during business hours and speak with the receptionist to register. You may also fill out the form in our church bulletin, which will be followed up with correspondence through the mail.

Marriages

Make arrangements with the priest at least six months prior to the wedding. At least one of the parties must live within the parish boundaries, or be a registered member of the parish. Please call the Rectory for an appointment. No dates will be set over the phone. All are required by our Bishop to attend Pre-Cana Conferences as part of the preparation.

Baptisms

Parents must contact the rectory and arrange to participate in our parish’s baptism class. Prospective parents should telephone the rectory about three months before the expected birth to discuss the arrangements for your child’s baptism and enroll you in the required baptismal class. The child’s birth certificate as well as the godparents’ “sponsor certificate” (godparents must be practicing Catholics) must be presented before a date is finalized.
